Scott has spent all of his summers at Fishing Lake and has an intimate knowledge of the lake. His grandparents were one of the first property owners on what is now North Shore Fishing Lake (aka. Saskin, aka Kuroki beach). In addition to his time at north shore he spent a couple weeks many summers at his aunties cabin on Chorney Beach. After outgrowing the family cabin Scott and his wife Marcy (who he met at Fishing Lake) purchased a back lot and moved a farm house onto it before upgrading to Lakefront North Shore Fishing Lake. Scott Marcy and thier two kids spend as many summer days as they can at Fishing Lake now visiting friends and extended family. That intimate knowledge of the lake gives Scott the knowledge of that market, the lakes history, the flooding issues and resolutions, and more.

Fishing Lake is a lake in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The lake is located between highway 5 and highway 16, 22 km north of the town of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, and 24 km east of the town of Wadena, Saskatchewan. The freshwater Lake contains some of the largest Pickerel and Northern Pike(Jackfish) in the world. The lake does not have an effective outlet channel, and therefore is prone to flooding.[1] Record floods in 2007[2] resulted in a plan by the Government of Saskatchewan to lower the level of the lake by digging a drainage channel.[3]
